you looking for HIGH end?/....or cheapies?
Sinfoni has an amp that runs at $14,000.
hand made by THE top person (only ONE person touches the amp)takes like a month to build!

Mark, any amplifier that's multi-channel and full range is most likely a class AB amplifier.
If it isn't, it'll be a "tri path" or class T amplifier and stated as such in the product description.
class D amplifiers are mostly mono amps, and always for subs only

Class A's:

Soundstream Human Reign(2ch or 4ch)

http://www.electronicsbonanza.com/comersus/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct =5464&sku=Soundstream-Human&src=g

They ain't cheap though($2k+) and are fugly in my opinion.

The Soundstream Da Vinci(7ch) is a pretty amp and could run am entire SQ system:

I've seen a couple refurbs go for around $800 and almost purchased one.

Just remember Class A amps are only about 25% efficient so expect to utilize one large size alternator.
