So, I had to move the stereo to a new car (sold the last one) and now I am having an unusual problem. Sounds good, amp is running, plays the CD - but it won't reject it. the motor runs, but I think it is getting caught on the lip inside the unit... Could I have screwed up the wiring or mounting, or is there a problem with the unit? Any suggestions to what I can do to fix this without getting a new stereo. This is the first problem I've had with it. Thanks

Anna, buy another one, its a lot easier and simple. Plenty of stereos around, either used on ebay or even new.
Another option would be to take it to the local audio shop to get looked at... they might be able to solve your problem right away and if not they could at least probably quote you on a price... usually however it isnt worth paying to get it replaced in which case (like gog suggested) i would turn towards ebay and look into picking up a new one
