Ok I've been messing with my 1000w lanzar vibe amp which is hooked to an audiobahn capacitor and 2 12" volfenhagen speakers, can anyone suggest what would cause the amp to come on for like 20 seconds and then go into protect mode? Any and all help will be a ppreciated thanx
the 12's have dual voice coils and i have each speaker wired straight to the amp, i dont understand what you mean by "how do you have them wired?" all connections look good, fixin to change rings on grund and power to amp wires
Your amp needs viagra. As for your problem, if you have DMM, measure the speaker's resistance. Are they DVC or SVC? An amp will shut down if the ohm is too low on the subs. Also a short in the speaker wires could also cause the problem.
