I just got my hu installed. On my stock hu i had the base turned down so my main source of bass was coming from my sub. I do not know or can figure out how to do this on this hu. Any help would be appreciated.

You should be able to just turn on the HPF (high pass filter) and it will cut off the lows from everything but the sub. Of course, you can adjust it to how low of frequencies you want it to cut off.

Try the lowest, 60hz I believe, to begin with. Play with it a little. If the speakers get distorted or don't sound the way you want them, try a higher hz cutoff.

x-over...you might want to check your owner's manual for more specific instructions...
