Still Looking For Amp Help Please... Protect!?!?!?

I recently bought 5 Lightning Audio 300.4 (900w max) amps (used) supposedly made by Rockford Fosgate. I tested each for power by hooking them up, only one at a time. All wiring is hooked up correctly and there's no room for error. They all power on, but only for a SPLIT second and then the PROTECT light comes on. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there something that usually goes bad internally in these amps? Are they easily fixable? Thankyou All.

try a better ground. i know you might think you have one, but i had a problem with a crappy sony amp that had a normal ground that would work for some amps, but i had to do it directly on the steel of the car.. down underneath the seats before it actually worked right.

I checked my ground... Lol I actually had to jump a car behind me stuck in my driveway off of my 0Ga Ground and my 0Ga Power the other day. So, I'm pretty sure it's the amps...
