Thanks...
But this list was edited last in January 2004.
Thing might be different now.?
The JBL amp is a CS series.
And the Lanzar is the newer Z series.... Any input on this series?
Cheers

I've never heard of macaudio, sounds really crappy though. As for Lanzar, that is sh*t too. The JBL would kill Lanzar anyday, PERIOD.

Silly me, I'm already registered there lol
I've seen the list but still...no MacAudio
This is so frustrating and strange
You would not believe how popular it is locally (not so cheep) I just can't understand how come that in the US they didn't take of.
The site shows they have a distributor in the US.

From the time u enter there your name shows on top on the right side - lol

B4 i joined this forum i only knew the popular brands like JL ,RF ,kicker ,orion , pioneer etc now that i'm on daily names like RE audio , Digital Designs , Zapco , Sound Splinter , Asendant audio , Elemental Designs , Diamond Audio , Harrison Labs & about a 100+ more are commonly talked about here .

Guess MAC Audio has not made its mark in the US as yet !
Best suggestion i'd say if its popular in your land ,a good product & reliably built then try it .
On the other hand ,alot of ppl say all that about BOSS audio in my country too but thanks to the guys here i never have & never will buy a Boss product .
Funny a Eoropean company would name their product MAC - something i would think a US company would seeing thats a slang word in the US !

Products looks like alot of window dressing to me - don't u get like the more common brands like i mentioned above ?

JBL has always been said to make good products but IMO i'd always try to get current models ,case in point yesterday i placed an order for some Infinity Ref Comp & unwittingly ordered last yr's model - turned out they were out of stock good thing too so i ordered the new 05 model instead .

Just curious - what kind of ride is yours , do Israel carry mostly Japanese cars ?

Mac's ABSOLUTE series looks like Performance Tecknique subs, which are made by Volfenhag/DHD, so who knows, but the builds look similar!

Around 5 years ago that was the case.. As for today it's about 50/50 between Japanese cars and European cars (mostly German)
I myself ride a VW Golf Mk IV. & I love it :-)
.... I don't know Volfenhag/DHD as well, any good?

Ask Sean what HE thinks of Volf/DHD. He's the only gold member that agrees with me about them being better than they are credited to be.
