i got 2 15" kicker L7s (2ohm) and 2 hifonics 1500d, with the kicker 0/1 pkd1 (dual amp kit).

i drive a ford expedition and i think the alternator puts out something like 130-140amps and i was just going to buy 2 caps till i get the money for a new alternator. whats good :D

whats good is patience, saving money, and not throwing it away on gimmicks that will do nothing for you before you get your alternator, and less afterwards.

In other words, forget the caps and save up for a H.O. alternator.

Amps = Amperes like as in 250A just so there was no confusion

You're looking at approximately 2000w "true" RMS just for your sub amps. You're gonna need an alternator....

Like Steve said, patience is a must in this hobby. Never rush into purchases without doing your homework.

yeah and i highly doubt ur car has a 130-140A stock alternator... my escalade has a 130 and thats extremely large... idk if any1s ever seen how many electrical things are in an escalade.... makes installation really hard...so yea 1 HO alternator is probably just a tad more than 2 caps.... be patient my friend.
