Wow, im getting a bit confused as where to deaden the door. Is it simply the plastic door panel you take off, and then that metal plate you see behind the plastic panel?

put it on the metal of the door itself,
if you have some left over, you can put it on the inside of the plastic door panel.
make sure you don't cover moving parts in the door, or they will no longer move with the sound deadening over them(door handle bars)

thank you, i also heard that you should put 2 layers on the bottom part of the metal door because thats where the noise mostly comes from. any truth? Also how much would i need for 2 doors and a trunk (on average?)

also, if your making kick panels or door pods, you should deaden the inside of it right? with a barrier or absorber material?
