Now how can a SUB put out more DB and is a 300 watt sub 12 inch compared to a 500 watt subb these are both RMS raitings.

Now is DB the ammount of BASS it puts out? And How does that work? Quality i guess?

Cuase im pissed off i got 500RMS subs that put out 88DB and i just saw 300RMS subs that put out 95DB :@

check your first thread.

Dynamat helps. it reduces lost sound(bass) due to vibrations of the body panels.

88 and 95dB ratings are sensitivity ratings.
300w and 500w are power ratings.
here are two links explaining both:

by the way, there are a LOT of factors to how loud a sub is going to be in any given setting.
enclosure type and design is a big factor, applied power is a factor, driver design is a factor, cabin gain is a factor, enclosure positioning is too.

a sub rated to handle 500 watts isn't automatically louder than a sub rated to handle 300 watts.
