i think they are about the same. they will sound about the same just depends on your amp setup, the impedence of the subs and how much power you have. what amp are you running

Alpine. RF's stuff is sh!t until you get up to the T2's, and even then, I was more impressed with their older stuff.

Kinda depends on your budget as well if you can afford the Alpines get the Alpines, and like Hunter said it depends on how much power you have

you guys make it sound like the type s is better then the rockford. its not. i think the rockford is just as good as the alpine if not better. the alpines will be no louder, and sound no better. im sick of people playing the brand game. yeah rockford may not be the best company but they are not the worst. and that goes the same for alpine, except the decks. and since you guys are just on entry level stuff there isnt goin go be much of a difcferece. go with what your budget allows.

Rockford is garbage I had a 600 watt amp, that thing could NOT keep up barely able to play for 30 mins without shutting off...just my experience anyways!

Punch is no good but they made a great improvement with their power (T) series

I have also had problems with the punch series. I think that the T1 sub is the best for price/performance.
