No power

Drew Stewart New member Username: Stux Post Number: 1 Registered: Sep-05	Posted on Sunday, September 18, 2005 - 01:55 GMT all the sudden my amplifier stopped working. its a bran new Jenson amp. i've had it for mabey two weeks, and it worked fine until last thursday. The neon light comes on when the ground and remote wire are connected. so i know those are fine. When i connect the power wire to the amp and check the screws with a multi-meter, i have power going into the amp. does anyone know what could have caused this, or an easy way to fix it without making a trip to the dealer etc. thanks sTu

Make sure they are on good. Twist them a lil, but do not twist them so that the ends unscrew themselves (some do that). Check your speaker connections. Make sure that they are making a good connection. Check your speakers by running them from a separate source that you know is good. Last, but not least. This is a Jensen after all. Shake the amp a lil, is there loose stuff inside?..... lol J/k Hope you solve the problem.
