Air space for 10 inch crunch sub

i have a 10 inch crunch subwoofer, which is a 240 watt dual coal. i was wondering how much air space should i have in a box? i am getting a box built for it and i dont have the air space?

Tiffany, you'll need more info than that to build a perfect box. Who's making it for you and for how much?
I'll give you an average box size for 10" sub.
You should make it 3 cu ft, along with 2 4" ports that are 14" in length.
If your box designer is any good, he should be able to tune the ports to 35Hz.
