Sub placement

I have 2 15" Diamond audio's and the way I'm going to have to put them is about 8" apart facing each other (seperate boxes). Will this be a problem?

I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that'll cause cancellation issues.

yup. it will.
can you angle them so they aren't opposing directly?

maybe build a V shaped box so they are aimed at angles from each other instead..

Ok I have another ? I put my subs in today to test fit and get some measurements so I could build a v shaped box. When I angle the subs up the bottom of the subs get closer and the top futher away. My ? is will this work the bottom of my subs are real close together will that work?
