iv just bought some pioneer 6*9 and have a nominal power output of 80W, my head unit amplifier is 4*50w, if i try to run these speakers off the head unit will they blow or do i need 2 buy a ampifier???
CRAP! forgot to add: they will sound WAYYYYYYYYY better if you go out and buy an external amplifier, b/c you will be able to play them louder w/o distrotion b/c the internal amp in the HU isn't that powerful.
