They're made by the same company...have the same remote...list all the same features... yet the python is cheaper..?
Is there any real difference to these that I should know about? Specs look the same... look sidentical to me at least, except the remote on one says "viper", the other says "python"...
same alarms.. like the Directed and Viper amplifiers for some models are the same, with a different casing. Just a matter of target market and having two brands so two stores can carry one without having to price match, etc.. marketing.

Had purchased the "python" alarm, (at circuit city) then noticed an almost identical display for viper alarms, at best buy, where the only difference was the name, heh.. Then found out same company..even same remote style, etc.. So figured as much, but never want to assume anything.
