Which of these two sets gives a warmer more musical sound.
They are accompanied by six 10s (finally).

I have/had four sets (two pair) the Infinity 6000cs but already replaces two tweeters and they lack great midbass IMO.

I will be upgrading to two set of either the MB Quarts or Focals

I have sampled both in local shops without being able to determine one over the other so i am looking for others experiences with either....

i am leaning toward the focals because of the three seperate speakers per side leads me to believe the drivers are more focused on thier particular range in sound...

Thoughts...?

man... two great speakers but i say the q lines. The wet powder coating makes the mids sound anwsome, very accurate. Also remember u gotta like loud highs, MB Quarts make bright tweeters

Focal have ok warmth in the mid-bass, but are extremely lazy drivers. Check out the Bl.

If you want warm and musical, Quart and Focal aren't the ones to do it with. You'd be better off with a set of DLS Iridiums, Dynaudios, Rainbows, something with a better tweeter for vocals and a warmer midrange response. Out of the two above, I'd take the Quarts.
