I know it probably won't make a difference, but does anybody prefer putting the crossover as close to the components as possible, or can I just leave it in my trunk. I have no idea where I'm gonna stick the two crossovers if I can't keep them in the trunk. Shouldn't make a difference though, this may be a stupid question.
Just what kind of distance are you talking? It should be as close to the components as possible. If you make the wires too long, it'll add resistance. If you look hard enough under the door panels, there is always space for xovers. That is where I hid mine. If you absolutely have no space, find some near the kick panel location or under the dash.
I figured they'd need to be as close as possible, but I wasn't sure if it'd make a difference. There really isn't much room, and I'd rather not put them inside the dorr panels, as the kick pods aren't going on the doors anways. I guess I could probably just hide them behind the pods a little.
