What exactly does it do for your sub when you have alot of OHMs?Is it better or worse?Good to have single or dual? How many OHMs do you have on your sub and what kind is it?

an ohm is a measure of resistance.
single or dual, depends on the setup.
to get certain amounts of power out of an amp, it has to see a certain ohm load.

for example: if an amp says 150wRMS @ 4ohms, you would need a SVC 4 0hm sub or a DVC 2 ohm sub.

if it says: 500wRMS @ 1ohm, you would need a DVC 2 ohm sub, or two DVC 4 ohm.

there are also other options for each example, but i am just giving you.....uh....examples. lol

the ohm rating doesnt have anythign to do if its good or bad. its just telling you how much power its giong to suck from ur amp.

with that sub u cud wire it to either 3 ohms or 12 ohms with 3 being much more practical.
this would put a 3 ohm load on the amp when wired in parallel. so say u have an amp that pushes 100w rms at 2 ohms. at 3 ohms it will push appx 75w rms.
