JL System

I am planning my new setup for my new truck and I'm going to be running 2 10W7's. I have heard numerous times that I should run a Hifonics BX1500D amp to power the pair instead of the JL 1000/1 however, I have also heard that the only true rating on that amp is the 1500.1 all the others are way off. so if i start powering the w7's im only going to be getting like 400 to each with that amp. anyone have any news about that or comments/suggestions for me? thanks a lot

a 500/1 would be sufficient for a pair of 10w7's

if fixed up the right way, you can squeeze out almost 750w rms out of that amp

they can handle a 500/1 each. I'd rather push more than 250 to each of them.

I'd go with the 1000/1 myself. That amp is severely underrated.
real output is closer to 1400wRMS on most of them.
That amp would drive a pair of 12 or 12 W7s very well.
