I don't understand.. you need comps? and you already have the Alpine, JL amp, and sub?

Do you have an amp for the components you will be purchasing? What kind of music do you listen to most?

I want comps to replace the factory fronts.
The JL amp and 12" sub are already in the vehicle.
I myself listen to a wide range of music from smooh jazz to hard rock and even some rapp.
The "kid" is seventeen and his likes speak for his age. (lol)

I don not plan to amp the front components initially, unless absolutely required.

Thanks

If I were you, I wouldn't spend high dollar on some nice comps and not amp them. They won't sound good, and may be hurt from such low power.

If you will be running the speakers on the HU, I would look into some Infinity Kappa coaxials. You'd need to get last years line, because the new line are SVC 2 Ohms. Also, Polk audio DB Series would do well for your application. A buddy of mine has some older DB's in his truck running off the HU, and Polk 12" and it sounds pretty good. He listen to what you listen to.

Jump on eBay and snag one of those cheap Xtant amps. Those are high quality amps that are going for an unbelieveably low price. You need an amp that is 100X2 @4 ohms RMS.

Thanks Dave

Was hopefull not to have to wait on a internet deal (e-bay) but if it saves enough $$$$ for the product I guess we can wait .. :-)
