in the early morning when i try turning on my subs, they make this wierd moan so i turn them off. The subs are pretty cold in the morning and so is the amp. By the time it gets pretty warm out my subs turn on fine. Have any of you heard of this problem before?

thnx in advance

what head unit, what amp, how many volts are the pre-outs of the head unit, and where do you have the amplifier gain set?
also, how is the amp grounded, specifically?

Sounds like your subs are just cold. Be careful not to turn them up too loud until they warm up... But maybe it's something else, just me .02...

Boss HU, very low quality amp (cuspid) until i can afford to pay for a new one and still have gas money left, 5-volt pre-amp output and amplifier gain all the way down

Find/get a DMM and measure the voltage on the amp in the morning. It'll tell you what's happening with your car's electrical system.
You could just have a $hitty amp that just can't handle the cold.
Sometimes the noise can be caused by low voltage or bad connection.
Did you do the install yourself? If possible have your alternator/battery tested. Some auto shops will test it for free.
