1978 Pioneer car cassette deck with FM tuner

Unregistered guest
Does anyone know the model number of the Pioneer car cassette deck with FM tuner (FM only, no AM) made around 1978. It had a large round display for the FM station and required seperate amp such as the Pioneer GM-120. The decks dimensions where about 5" wide and 2 1/2' high (box like).

I had one back then and would like to search Ebay for it. Thanks

That must be what we called "PIONEER CLOCKFACE'
Don't know model but u could type in that name .

I was a few yrs old when that came out & it had a look that u just could not miss . Front face was about 3" tall . They had a casette & 8 track version too , thing was heavy too . Very good workhorses back in the day - Glasswolf will know what i'm talking about . PPL are still are holding on to those & will never sell so easily .

I have a 1982 pioneer deck & pioneer GM120 amp from since then & it still runs good !!!
