i have a slot ported box and was wondering if instead of using terminals, is it better to just run the wires throughout the port and then to the amp

i heard this gives a better connection to the amp

does it make a difference

and is it dangerous if not taped down or sumtin to the bottom of the box

it is better, but you will not notice a difference. if you are going to do that, drill a hole in the back of the box big enough to fit the sub wire through and use zip-tie downs to secure it to the back of the box. so as not to rip it out of the box or what not.

the more places you have power transferred, the more power you lose in the process, but your not going to notice a boost in your subs output.

i was thinking of running my wires directly to my next amp because the terminal i have now makes a little vibrating sound and its pretty anoyin
puting the wires through the port could make the wires hit against the port and make a vibrating sound
i was thinking of just drilling a small hole through the back of the box and feeding the wire through that and then sealing the hole with liquid nail or something
