Gold Member Username: GlasswolfWisteria, Lane USA Post Number: 9656 Registered: Dec-03 | the yellow top is a deep cycle battery. it can be run to below 10 volts without damage to the cells, unlike a normal car battery. the deep cycle also tends to keep a solid voltage rail longer to help stabilize voltage if the alternator is getting pushed to it's limits. |
