i am thinking about upgrading my subwoofer. I have never heard either of the two, but i was wondering which of the two, would give me the best sql. will be running 600+ watts, i believe the eclipse is rated at 750, which is still 80% rms. the re se is 600, just wanted to know which one would give me the best of both worlds, will probably run it off a sealed box. any input is appreciated, peace.

The Eclipse is the way I'd go. It can get an SPL, SQ, or SQL sub easily. It's very effient too, so 600 watts RMS would run it nicely, but it WILL take 1,500 RMS (I know the specs are 750, but call Eclipse and ask 'em). Put it in a 1.5cu/ft box sealed, and you'll be pleased :D. Just make sure it's strong, built out of AT LEAST 3/4" MDF, and double up the baffle.
