ok well i tried a search but it came up as no results, probably becuase i worded it so wierd. but i was thinking, i have 1 sony xplod 10" sub 800 watts max power and a xplod amplifier 500watts with 2 channels, and i was wondering if i could somehow make the two channels into one so my sub can get the most power out of it. thanks for reading this and i hope you can answer this.

the manual that came with yer amp should say if it's "bridgable" or not. if so, it ought to tell you how.
also, when matching power from yer amp to yer sub, look at RMS (nominal, continuous) power, not max power, and make sure the power output of yer amp matches(covered by warranty, safe) the power input of yer sub. make sure the ohms rating matches up too. for example, if yer amp says, 150watts RMS x1 @ 4 ohms, and yer sub says, single 4ohm 150watt RMS, then everything will be dandy.

is the sub single or dual voice coils?
is the sub 2 ohms or 4 ohms per coil?
is the amplifier bridgeable?
