For right now I'll be replacing stock 4" mids up front and my stock 5.25" mids in the back with upgrades. I'll be pushing these mids with a KX450.2 2-channel amp. Should I just get a 2-way crossover? Which crossovers do you all recommend that aren't too pricey?

How about the crossovers on my amps? My KX1200.1 has a low pass crossover and my KX450.2 has both low and high pass crossovers. I never used these built-in crossovers in the past because I've always had a seperate electronic crossover.

If you can visit a Stinger dealer they have speaker capacitors that will filter out harmful low-end frequencies. They cost about $2.00 -- 3.00 ea.
