Hey, im looking to upgrade my stock speakers, and Ive got 6x9s right now, but ive heard that 6.5" have getter sound quality, so should I grab the 6.5"s and some speaker adapters or just stick with 6x9s

What if your stuck with 4x6's up front in the dash, and you have 6x9's in the rear deck, would you go with componants in the rear then, or just replace the 6x9's with the 6.5's Brands?

just get a meaty pair of 6.5 components, and mount the tweeter in the c-pillar facing the front

check out their 6.5 comps

but ideally your soundstage should be from the front,i.e. when you go to a concert, does the band play behind you? lol

Oh I know, but this caddy is giving me so much trouble with speakers. I can't find anyone around my area to do custom kicks, and there is NO room on the doors, so they stuck them 4x6's in the dash! This is why I guess without spending a fortune on this ride, alternatives if any! The 6x9's I can get at better to in the rear, and running a sub in the trunk! Thanks for any input!
