i am thinking of matching a pair of these to a set of focal or CDT components, to fill in the lows. does anyone have experience with these, these are the 8 inch ones. can anyone recommend a 1200-1500 watt amp @ 2 ohms for these. will this work?

You cant really get much SPL with an 8" sub. If you have the room for two of those you would be better off going with 1 12 or 1 15 for an SQL result.

Hi Brian. Actually a good 100 watts rms to each of those will be sufficient. They are exrememly efficiant woofers. And yes, they are accurate as well.

I suppose so, but that question is relative to what a person feels "decent" is. Myself, I think they could in the correct enclosure and the right vehicle, probably get a mid to lower 140's db out of them lol. But, they're better suited as mid bass drivers.

140 is pretty high for a "mid bass drive". How much are they anyway???
