Biggest (amps) alternator on a stock car

i want to know so i can take one and use it on mine i'm going to use it as a second alternator just for the stereo

largest one I recall offhand is a Denso casing alternator in a fully loaded Durango. 165A

what about police cars, I know theat over here ( Germany, they installed a second alternator to backup all the equipment.

Generally speaking diesel engines have big ones and so are the batts.
It all depends on the car, so you need to tell GW whats yours (not familiar with US cars).
PS
Mine has just a lousy 80 A, so I need a second batt (Northstar that is, ...going to be).

Another battery won't really help, because your car will end up draining both batteries because your alternator will not be able to keep both of them charged. The only thing that would really help is a ho alternator.

glasswolf is that denso cassed alternator easy to come by i want a second alternator for my car it old (not junk) i can actually work on it myself
