Ok, im trying to help my friend out by finding out whats wrong with her headunit. Its a pioneer premier, and is going into a mits eclipse. She has another HU in right now that works, but when we hook up this one, it powers up but no sound comes from the speakers. However, the subs have bass coming out of them. Is this a problem with the wiring harness, fuse, or what? Im stumped! Thanks.
are you sure that you wired the harness correctly sounds like you messed up the color matching..check the colors and make sure their properly connected then get back to us if you still have a problem

Yeah, its wired right. All the wiring matches up. The illumination is the only one left over. I had two others look at it, and they think its the speaker channel wires (so the harness)
