Help on pickin out a 12" ( sq)

i got a audiofonics 1500w(600rms) and 2 audiobahn 12" the cheap flame ones ... its loud enough but i dont like the sound its producing

i was thinkin of gettin a mtx 9500 or jl w7 but there to much so i was thinkin of wat other subs i could get and are the audiobahn 10" immortals good i can get one for $169

also are the boss amps good ... i can get them pretty cheap class d

Eclipse Aluminum $149 + shipping, Image Dynamics IDMAX $279 + shipping or IDQ 159+shipping. Even the Infinity Perfect 12.1 if you're looking for good output and SQ. I would stay away from Audiobahn. Your Amp would be slightly underpowering the IDMax depending on the enclosure.

Or you can go with an Eclipse Ti, Ascendant Audio Avalanche (if you can find one), or if you want some sql go with the JL killer Resonant Engineering XXX.

xtant are good SQ.. and decently cheap. Always a good brand :P.

james you should save that other 15 ava for about 6 months you would be able to get a lot more

i dunno much bout eclipses but is the sw7 good i can get a 12" for $119 or 2 sw6 for $64 each

also i like phoenix gold i got 2 6x9 and 2 6 1/2" the sound good

i hate to be a post wh0re but doesnt matter since im a guest but i jsut found a 10" jl w3 for $160 and there 300 rms each so i power 2 nicely on my amp

oh and how do u tune a box with frequency .. from your amp ?? i dont get that consept

Eclipse Aluminum is on par with the w6v2. The titanium is on par if not better than the w7.

No, to tune a box you have to port it and adjust the port legnth. The longer the port, the lower the tuning.

RE's RE series subs are an extremely good buy at only 77 shipped for each 12.

Audiobahn sucks. RE series subs are an extremely good sub for the price.

what sites can i get the RE subs beside ebay .. they hardly have any ... also are the pheonix gold subs good cause i know they used to based on quality but now they got those ricers on there boxes for the octanes .. i got 4 octane speakers and there pretty nice sounding but i havnt compared to much

lol letto, I say idMax too, you can get it for $330-$350 and it would do well with 600 watts.
