hey im hearing alot of comments that the kicker solobaric s12d isnt a real good speaker i just wanted to know its pros and cons so i can know them beforehand do wen i install them i wont be surprised thanx alot guyz

They are loud but they sond like mud. The square design reduces its integrity. Its a good choice if you want all out loud.

hes talkin bout the round ones iceman....
they get loud and have great SQ

if hes talking about the old school round ones those get real loud and sound good too
if hes talking about the newer square ones they get loud but have horrible SQ(i know that SQ depends on peoples opinions but their is no denying that they sound like @$$ most of the time)

do you have any idea what the rms of those subs is? and what ohm configuration do they have?

I have the same subs but in the 15" My model number is c15a I am guessing they are svc 4 or 8 ohm which means you will need a 2 channe that makes its power at 2 ohms bridged or 4 ohms bridged. my subs r 4ohm but i have no clue on how to make a amp 2 ohm or 4 ohm

mtx 801d amp would work perfect,
