hello, i have a sony cdx-c5000x. it is a cd changer reciever, but it does not say it plays mp3 format tis the reason i'm not sure if i can hook up and ipod. i want to actually hook it up to the cd player. none of that terrible quality fm transmitor or anything cuz i do want sound quality. this thing has been in my vehicle for a few years so it's not a new cd player, but i'm just wondering if these will be compatible......thx in advance.
Kevin you can get a Ipod connector from Dension for $200.Prolly cheaper on ebay.It will power and charge your ipod.On the display of the CD player you can read title,genre or artist.Basically turn you ipod into a hard drive.
