Since it's rated at 720rms in mono it should run my Alpine Type S's very nicely. I just wanted to see what people thought about them on this fourm

The Alpine Type S subs are really not power hungry last time I looked. You would probably be better off investing in a quality 300-400w rms amplifier versus a cheap "high" RMS.
