All the gold members (Glass, Sean, Isaac, Jexx, Joe Smoe, etc...) have given a lot of advice to alot of folks on subs, amps, wiring, and everything in between but i have only seen a few list thier personal gear in thier vehicles...

So here it is:

GOLD MEMBERS: What do you have in the vehicle you drive on the weekends or your daily driver. No tow or competion vehicles (unless you drive the comp regularly).

listed in my profile here, and on my website.

1966 Dodge Charger 500.2cid
Alpine CDA-7990 AM/FM/CD
Audiocontrol EQTs (2) 1/3 octave 30-band mono EQs
Orion 400BDG bridging module
Orion 200CRX electronic crossover
Orion 2250SX amplifiers (3) with internal modifications
DynAudio System 360 front stage (8" midbass, 3" midrange, 1" tweeter)
RE XXX 12" subs (2)
Aperiodic enclosure
275A chrome excessiveamperage.com alternator
1x optima red top (starter)
2x optima yellow top (audio)
Orion MBR70 battery regulator
knukonceptz 1/0ga cable
entire car cabin spray-lined with LizardSkin

one 2250SX is in stereo for the front stage @ 250 watts x 2
two 2250SX amps are bridged mono @ 4 ohms, one per sub @ about 1,300+ watts each

it's strictly set up for SQ, and mainly personal enjoyment. I take the car to shows, but haven't gone to any competitions with it yet. Still working on parts of the car for strip use in bracket racing catagories.

Glass, is there any reason you decided to run your subs 4ohm mono instead of wiring one channel/coil @2ohm stereo?
i.e., is there any advantage/disadvantage of either?

basically it just saved me having to balance the gains for left and right channels. It was the lazy way to go, and makes no difference in output so really slightly saver in my case.
the 400BDG splits the DIN signal to summed left and summed right channels, so I can run left/right sub amps with it.
handy little toy with Orion's DIN signal path

er slightly safer that is. anyway, the amps have left and right channel gains. when I bridge the amplifier, I don't have to mess with making sure output is exactly eaqual between left and right on each amplifier so the coils don't fight each other.

The 2250SX has internal bridging. I only use the 400BDG to actually take the DIN level signal and split it to two amplifiers after the 200CRX crossover splits up the frequencies. I keep the DIN signal path and the 400BDG gives me up to 4 outputs. left, right, summed mono, and mixed mono.

I just talked to admin and he says after 10K, you get a hand made broom and a mop.
You have to supply your own pail though.

If you're in the giving mood, then feel free to send some my way. I'm collecting money on behalf of GlassWolf.
Don't worry, I will make sure he gets at least 20 cents on every dollar I receive. :-)
