Ok, I was looking to get the pioneer p860mp but then i noticed that the preout voltage is 6.5 and my jbl bp300.4 amp's maximum input signal is only 5.9 volts. Does this mean I cant use this Hu with my amp? If I cant then I will get the pioneer 8600mp which has 4 volt preouts. Comments please? Thank you

The preout voltage is maximum output voltage. You'll only be able to put out 6.5v when the headunit is turned up to full power.

I would say go with it, .6v isn't enough for you to downgrade. If you still find the output too high, you can get a dual ganged potentiometer and hook it straight up to the RCA cable.

I have the DEH-P8600MP. Its my favorite deck yet. That one and the Premier versions are the some of the best radios ever.
