I bought a used MTX thunder 4405 5 channel....you wont believe what I did....I used the existing 8 gauge wiring from my last setup and used it for this amp a few hours later i smell burnt wire...the amp "requires 4 gauge"...i ended up shorting out my sub channel and my speakers currently have a piercing whistling noise and gets louder with the increased rpms....could any of you guys put me in contact with someone or direct me to a site that fixes amps so I can resell this on ebay lol...i just bought the jl 500/5...thanks for your help fellas
