Hi i have a concept 600 on my car it has been fine for almost 5 years now. however all of a sudden the arm/disarm chrp has stopped working. everything else on the alarm seems to work fine except this chirp (it was set to quiet chirp). i have read that it could be the actual siren or the back up battery. i would appreciate some advice from someone with expert knowledge.
Tom make sure you didn't put it in valet mode by accident. That is the most common thing I see with your problem. (red light on all the time)
If not its probably the siren. You can take it in (should still be under warranty) or you can swap it out yourself. Its pretty easy, just 2 screws and 2 wires.
Hay if you want to make sure it isn't the siren, press and hold the arm button till the alarm goes into panic mode. The lights will flash, and the siren should go off too.

cheers mate, the siren works in alarm so it must be the siren not valet mode.
