Alright, I am the only idiot who ripped out his Bose system from an Infiniti qx 56 and replaced it will all JL audio components, a 10w6 v2, 300/4, 500/1 and the highly sought after clean sweep. My question is this.

I listen to alternative rock, house and dance music primarily. My sub box is 1.25 cubic feet with port from JL specs. I want tighter bass. Will a sealed enclosure suit me better??

Thanks

Will I sacrifice any significant quality. Some have told me that JL's are better when ported?

louder...port is always making some noise(bassreflex is even worse)if you want a tight bass go for sealed enclosure,at cost of couple db's
