I have 2 MB Quart PWD 304 subs. They were purchased new in 2001 and have yet to be used! I will use two Phoenix Gold tantrum 500.2 amps (one to each sub) to run them. The voice coils will be wired series and the amps will be on bridged mode. Thus resulting in a 4 ohm bridged set up providing each sub with 530 watts rms. Each speaker will be in seperate sealed enclosures.

Does anybody have any experiance with this equipment?

Does this sound like a good set up assuming that my front speakers, front amps, deck and equalizer are good and that it is all properly and well installed?

Do MB Quart and PG make good equipment?

I know that MB Quart was known for their 5.25 and 6.5 inch component speakers, but I also heard that the pwd 304 was a good sub. Furthermore, I heard that the PG tantrum amps were built very well. Maybe not as well as the titanium, but they were still better than many others in the price range.

Any input or advice will be appreciated.
