i hooked up my subs and amp and i lost display on my head unit, if i spin the volume knob, sometimes the display will come on, only when the display is on the buttons will work (seek, ff, rew, etc.) but if i turn the knob it will turn off..it seems that when the volume knob is at certain spots on its rotation, it gives enough power to power the screen and tell me what track it is on...can someone pleaseeee help...its a 2003 toyota corolla

Have you double checked all of your wireing? That could cause an issue. Maybe return the system to naormal and see if the problem goes away.

Also, you don't mention what type of head unit you have.
