How do I get a kenwood out of service mode???

While holding down the Preset 6 key, reset the unit.

I understand hold down the 6 key but does this automatically reset the unit without using anymore buttons.????

Nah, there should be a tiny reset button located somewhere on the faceplate. If you tell me the model I can be more specific of where the reset button is.

The reset button is the little hole to the right of the Auto/AME button.

If you don't have a manual for the head unit, I would suggest that you download one.

The remote is PN A70-0894-05 $18
