Hi,

Ok, so I need to disconnect my battery to do some work on the system and was wondering if there are any steps I need to take with the capacitor or can I just remove the battery terminal then re-connect when need be? Do I have to first disconnect the capacitor, Discharge? And if so how do you discharge a cap? I've looked in the booklet but it only explains how to charge...

The Cap is a SXCAP1.2M

Help is always appreciated!

You don't want to discharge the cap. Just disconnect it from all power source. If not, the amp will drain it.
It's not a problem to discharge it. All it means you have to charge the cap once you're done.
