Aright i was looking around and happened to run into these audiobahn subs they are 6 ohm with 3 voice coils..? what kind of amp would you need to power those??

you'd wire the coils together for various loads. 6 ohm coils are used for setups using 3 subs.. easier to get a balanced load that way.
although honestly I can't see why anyone wants audioblah in the first place.

you could also use 3 amplifiers.. one per coil, for more power.. if you reallyw anted to or felt the need.

RE offers a few subs with quad coils for the same reason. allows for multiple amplifiers to drive one sub with an assload of power.. the MT needs it though.
