Hey everyone, what do you recommend for a tuning frequency. Whats the highest acceptable frequency to be accepted for a subwoofer, and lowest for SQ not SPL comps or anything.

What would be ideal for SPL, or are you tested on a tone you choose, so basically your tuning freq.?

For spl, you usually want to tune high, like any where from 50/65HZ.
The lowest you could tune, hmmmm, I guess 20HZ, but thats the lowest the human ear can hear. Don't know why you'd want to tune it that low.

A good tuning frequency would be around 28HZ, depending on what tipe of music you like to listen too.

And even more common in the 30-35 hz for daily driving. A low tune like 20 hz should really only be used for something like home theater.
