Yeah you can. I used a hi-low converter on my durango and hooked up a amp and sub to my stock deck.

$15 for the hi-low. But then you have the amp/sub and install if you dont want to do it yourself.

The whole thing is prety simple. I bought mine and had it installed for 55$ all together. Then you run your own rca's, amp kit, and REM. then hook up your amp/sub wherever you wish. or have it all installed. But i did all that my first time ever isntalling anything and it was very easy to do.

Remember, you can always run the high level outputs back to the amp as well, as long as the amp can accept high level input. You don't HAVE to convert them to rca, but then again it would be much easier.
