OK, i need help making a decision hear, i have a RE XXX12 with no home. i like tight, punchy, accurate bass. i don't like bass overpowering the rest of my system. even though all i have ever heard is sealed, i still have people trying to convince me to go ported. i need help deciding either sealed or ported tuned to 28Hz as recommended by RE.
Sealed if you don't have the trunk space, ported if you do and want loud bass. For balanced sound, go sealed. You can always get 2 or 4 channel amp for your components to balance out the ported sub. There are always, ways to correct problems.
