I have a clarion head unit. when i try to installed the unit. the head unit never turn on. then i took it to a professional and he got it to turn on once. and then it never turned on. then my buddy had a head unit laying around. and the professional tested it on this thing and it went on.(my buddys head unit). so we go to put it in my car and it doesn't even go on. again.. another issue i have is that the cigerette lighter doesn't work. i dunno if that contruibes to it.
Have you checked all of the fuses? It's a possbility the battery constant was hooked up to the cigarette lighter fuse...

in my car cigarette lighter fuse and cd player are the same fuse. so give that a look

The car has been tottaled and been rebuilt 2 times. wat do u mean. battery constant hooked up wit the cigarette lighter fuse.. all the fuses look good under the hood and in the car.
