I have a 2000 Watt American Legacy Series 2 LA 1990 amp powering my 2 12" Bazooka Subs. Recently, my amp has continued to shut off on me when I turn up the volume. I think I figured out the problem. I had two 30 ampere fuses in my amp and I think they were too much. WHAT FUSES DO YOU ALL RECOMMEND I SHOULD PUT IN MY AMP?
no dont change the fuses that has nothing to do with it...if your amp was actually anywere near 200watts it would need bigger fuses not smalller ones..i mean my 720 watt jensen amp has the same fuses yours does...check the ground and it could be that since your amp is sh!t then it just overheats

I found out what the problem was. My ground connection was bad, thats why my amp kept going into protection. I have two 30 ampere fuses in my 2000 watt amp and everything works fine now.
